Our representatives will welcome you at the airport on your arrival. You will then be taken to ‘Negombo’.
Negombo City tour (Subject to availability of time)
The City of Negombo, the fourth largest city in Sri Lanka, is famous for its golden beaches and the massive fishing industry. With the International Airport located in Negombo metropolis the city has become a significant tourist spot by giving them the chance to rest in the sandy beaches under the orange dusk in a breezy evening, visiting the fish markets, getting on board on a fishing trip in the Negombo lagoon or visiting the Muthurajawela Marshlands. The city of Negombo is the perfect place to enjoy a mouthwatering seafood lunch, spend a leisurely afternoon on a beach, and go shopping or to simply enjoy the pure of bliss of a good rest.
Afterwards head back to the hotel get comfortable in the warmth of Sri Lankan hospitality.
Today you will start the day with a scrumptious Breakfast at the hotel, get a taste of the delicious Sri Lankan cuisine and feel the spice in this rich culture.
Then you will head off to a Safari by 4x4 jeep in Wilpattu national park
Wilpattu National Park is the largest national park of Sri Lanka with 131,693 hectares of land. The park derives its name from the natural lakes called “Willus”, natural water basins that fills with rainwater during the rainy season, there are approximately 60 of these Willus spread across this beautiful landscape which is home to Elephants, Sri Lankan Sloth Bears, Leopards, mongoose, fascinating number of bird species including birds that are endemic to the country, other reptiles, like mugger crocodiles, soft shelled turtles, also the right doses of fun, excitement and beautiful scenery to make this safari another fantastic moment in your vacation.
Then we will take you to your hotel in Anuradhapura to Relax and unwind for the day.
After a hearty breakfast in this Historic city you will head off to a ‘Safari by 4x4 jeep in Minneriya national park’. Today you will capture some masterpieces.
Minneriya national Park, located closer to Polonnaruwa city and spread over an 8890-acre is renowned for its tropical monsoon climate and undoubtedly one of the largest gatherings of Asian Elephants, this large herds of wild elephants are seen migrating during the dry season to the Minneriya Rainwater Reservoir adjoining the park. This safari is guaranteed to make for picture-perfect travel experience mixed with adventure as you cruise through the heart of a nature in its untouched raw beauty.
Afterwards you will be travelling to Kandy the second largest city of the country which was the last Kingdom of old Ceylon, still living up to its majestic glory.
- Temple of the sacred tooth relic
Sri Dalada Maligawa or The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, requires little to no introduction in terms of its distinction. Long hailed as the center of country’s Buddhist faith, this venerated 17th century sacred palace attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists and pilgrims each day. Adjoining the Kandy Lake at the center of this prestigious city, be it for the Esala Perahara, the 10-day dazzling parade with hundreds of Elephants in bright drapes, fire dancers, torch-bearers, acrobats and drummers, that enlightens the Kandy city nights every year, or the religious festivities, the architectural and historic eminence, and the constant scent of incense, Sri Dalada Maligawa continues to be one of the top tourist attractions in the country.

Wake up refreshed for another adventurous day this island has so much in store for you. First stop would be to the Udawaththakale Sanctuary
Also known as “The Garden above the Royal Palace”, back in time Udawaththakale Sanctuary was declared by kings as a private garden not open to the public but now this 257-acre historic forest reserve lies majestically overlooking the city of Kandy and the Temple of the sacred tooth relic and has become a major travel attraction among visitors who travel to Kandy. Deep inside this forest reserve a royal pond used by kings, three forest monasteries, three cave dwellings of Buddhist monks can be found along with the wild animals and giant lianas making it a fine example of a time where civilization was once in perfect sync with Mother Nature.
Next will be Kandy city tour
The city of Kandy is the second largest city of Sri Lanka after Colombo. Surrounded my mountain ranges and a proud history, the city is lively from the first light of the day till late long in to the night. During this city tour we will be passing the Bogambara Prison built in 1876 during the British rule which is also the second biggest prison complex in the country, noted for its archeological and architectural significance. Other locations include the Peradeniya University of Sri Lanka situated at the lower slopes in the famous Hanthana Mountain Range evoking splendid scenery and also closer to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. The tour doesn’t end there, the city is home to other interesting locations as well, the busy open air market (locally called “Pola”) is a place where you can enjoy local street food, the Pillaiyar Kovil, Kandy Clock Tower, Old Lawyer’s office complex also the Neo-gothic style church of St Paul’s built in 1848. Touring the city of Kandy, where the presence of the historic Sri Dalada Maligawa and the Bogambara Lake at the center of the town, is always an experience the like of which no town elsewhere in the country can evoke.

Fifth Morning in this vibrant historic city, be ready to be mesmerized by the scenic beauty that awaits you on the Train Ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya.
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful train rides you will have the privilege of getting on board. This leisurely drive will take you between mountains carpeted with acres of green valleys, woodlands or tea plants and with scenes of remarkable beauty as workers can be spotted spread over plucking tea leaves, and may be you will cut through thick mists, cold breezes together with sunlight hovering over the hills, over bridges that connect mountain as towns can be visible below resting below and through tunnels that echo. Every year this particular train ride attracts tourists of foreign and locals and every age to enjoy this bewitching travel experience.
Next you will take a tour around Nuwara Eliya City
A town reminiscent of a Little England which had thus earned the title due to the ancient buildings, cottages, bungalows demonstrating Victorian style of architecture, Nuwara Eliya is the ideal romantic hideaway set against the backdrop of mountain ranges spread towards the horizon, and valleys of natural beauty, silvery shinning waterfalls decorating the hills drowned in evergreen tea plantations. At the heart of the town is Victoria Park, the beloved picnic spot famous for quality relaxation times closer to nature and seasonal bird-watching.
One activity not to be missed is the Boat ride in the Gregory Lake
Gregory Lake built in 1873 by the British Governor Sir William Gregory, is the most prominent and famous tourist attraction in hill country capital of Sri Lanka. Each year, thousands of tourists (increasing numbers during the month of April every year), flock with their families and loved ones to enjoy a quality relaxation time by the lake, with boat rides and even rides on the back of a Pony. Offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Nuwara Eliya and the surrounding landscape, a time spent at this beautiful place is one you wish to relive every other day.

The national park is home various kinds of species among which the Sambar deer is a favorite among visitors. Horton Plains is bestrewed with all of wild features that draws attention of every explorer, thick forests, and grasslands as far as the eyes can see, waterfalls like deep inside the park, but the apex of this grand site is the World’s End, a 1200-meter cliff offering a sweeping and dazzling view of the hill country, and the Baker’s Falls a 20-meter high waterfall inside the plains.

Yala is also home to an immense variety of flora and fauna, including approximately 215 bird species, with seven endemic to Sri Lanka. Another remarkable feature of this famous tourist attraction is that it is one of the places on planet earth with the largest density of Leopards.
The sweat on your brows and the sun above your head pales in comparison to the beauty you witness while on a safari in the wildlife paradise among magnificent elephants roaming around or gathered around a pool of water, mugger crocodiles resting across the wetland shores, shining leopards proudly roaming in this paradise in the wilderness.
